Welcome to the Regenerative Food System Webinar Series

When considering a regenerative food system, we mean “farm to fork to disposal”.
This webinar series explores circularity at each stage along the food value chain.

Tuesday 11 May 2021

11h00 to 12h15

Overview of the webinar

The WEF definition of a circular economy is an industrial system that is restorative or regenerative by intention and design.

Circular economy replaces the end-of-life concept with restoration; shifts towards the use of renewable energy; eliminates the use of toxic chemicals which impair reuse and return to the biosphere; and aims for the elimination of waste through the superior design of materials, products, systems, and business models.

A system that creates value for every player in the wider ecosystem, will thrive in the long term.
